Magic Arm – Outdoor Games

Manchester’s Magic Arm has just brought out a debut LP on Switchflicker and I can wholeheartedly say that, for me, this has been the most eagerly awaited release in 2007. After supporting the likes of Six Organs of Admittance and Ariel Pink and having been celebrated by the wonderful Grizzly Bear, I suspect we’ll be hearing a lot more from Marc Rigelsford’s brilliant mixture of sunshine harmonies, elastic banjo and quiet electronica. Though currently only available on 10″ vinyl or mp3 download from Tune Tribe, ‘Outdoor Games’ is one to pick up.
