My main problem with Valentine’s Day is that we shouldn’t need a specific day set aside for all things romantic – especially when it usually inspires little more than a reluctant obligation to book dinner, buy some flowers/chocolate and a Hallmark card. C’mon, people – a little bit of effort, every day, is not so hard.
