The Cramps – New Kind of Kick
An old favourite to kick your saturday into gear. The Cramps were a visceral mixture of garage rock and rockabilly (in fact the term ‘psychobilly’ may as well have been coined specifically for them) with frontman Lux Interior howling of cheap thrills, monster movies and fetishes – all compounded quite theatrically to make bad music for bad people.
