Apparently, in the mid-’70s a bunch of dudes from Detroit and Chicago moved to Dimona, Israel, to get in touch with their Black Hebrew culture, and somewhere along the way, created this collection of blistering soul and funk jams laced with a touch of “gospel psychedelia.”
